Save the Date: 'Go Get the Axe' Opens in New York City on June 8, 2017

For the past year, the fine folks at FIG Productions have been working tirelessly to assemble an amazing team of actors and creatives for the company's first production: Go Get the Axe.

Written by James L. Menzies, a former corporate wonk who decided to trade in his TPS reports for a laptop and a seemingly endless supply of legal pads (yes, he likes to write shorthand), the play tackles some dark topics—death, depression, and alcoholism among them. But it also revels in its own absurdity and, ultimately, offers a message of hope and proof that redemption is possible, but only if self-forgiveness comes first.

Go Get the Axe, which runs 90 minutes without an intermission, will make its New York City debut on June 8, 2017 at The Theatre at 30th Street and run through June 25, 2017 with 7:30 p.m. nightly performances Wednesday through Saturday, 2:30 p.m. Sunday matinees, and two special Saturday matinees on June 17 and 24, 2017.

Tickets, which cost a very reasonable $18 apiece, are available for purchase here.
